The Hungarian women’s handball team will continue their EHF EURO Cup campaign on the 28th of February against Switzerland, one of the co-hosts, ahead of the 2024 European Women’s Handball Championship. The 2024 European Women’s Handball Championship will be co-hosted by Austria, Hungary and Switzerland. The organising countries, as well as Norway, the winner of the previous continental tournament, are now assured of a place in the EHF EURO Cup series and will prepare for the end-of-year competition. In the first round, the Hungarian national team faced Norway in Debrecen, Hungary, the venue of the 2024 European Championship, and a few days later the national team led by Vladimir Golovin took to the pitch in Austria. The Hungarian and Swiss national teams will meet in Tatabánya on the 28th of February and in Gümligen in the return leg in a few days’ time. The other two rounds will take place in April.
